Illamasqua Cream Pigment 'Mould'

I recently added another Illamasqua Cream Pigment £17 to my collection in the name of Mould. It's a purple/grape colour with a matt finish and is really rather lovely.  I bought this colour because purple is perfect to wear with green eyes (which I have) but I also think it would look good with any eye colour and definitely a great substitute if you want something different to the usual black or brown smoky eye.  As with many Illamasqua products, they are multi-functional so you can also use this as a lipstick and on the cheeks if you so desire.

You can layer this pigment starting with a light wash for a daytime look and building up for a glam eye.  I would highly recommend an eyeshadow primer beforehand as any cream product will crease if you don't use one.  These pigments are not 'cream eyeshadows' so are not really easy to blend - I dab on with my finger and then blend with a brush.  It takes a little practice but once you've got the hand of it the results are worth it.

Another winner for me from Illamasqua.
